What's Cooking Final Project - "Are You Salty?"
Outcomes: Communication 4
Selection: This should be in my portfolio because me and my group worked really hard on this. We worked for about 3 weeks on this. On the last day we had a gallery walk where everyone put up their projects on poster boards and displayed them. We had 2 judges and they looked at all the projects and the judges had to decide which one was the best. They chose my groups project as the best one.
Process: This piece of work demonstrates self-direction because each of us had do a certain part in the experiment. We had to search up how to make ice cream and we had to tweak the procedure a couple of times. Certain people had to record the data of the experiment and write down how much of the ingredients we needed.
This work is different from what I would of produced in 9th grade because in 9th grade my self-direction was not that great because I would fool around a lot. But now I am more focused with my work.
Goal Setting: I still need to work on writing my conclusions a little better in Science class.
Overall: This piece shows that I am a team player and I work well with others. Also I can contribute a lot to my group
